The hotel is situated at the top of Mermejita Beach, in a semi-virgin area, surrounded by a variety of flora and fauna. The access to the hotel is via a
dirt road, with steep inclines and at night there is no public light on the road leading to the hotel. For all these facts our minimum age on the premises is 18yrs

Yes, but please note that all power requirements are provided by solar energy. Each bungalow has 2 power outlets for charging phones, cameras, laptops etc. They are 110-volt, 2 prong sockets (like in USA).
We highly encourage you to turn off the fan and disconnect all the chargers in use when you leave your room. Please note that the use of hair dryers, irons, electric brushes or any kind of similar electronics cannot be used.
All beaches in Mexico are public. The hotel is located 1km away from Playa Mermejita.
A 50% deposit of the total bungalow cost including taxes is required to secure your reservation. For bookings during Christmas and New Year’s holiday period, 100% payment of the reservation amount is required.
Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to arrival date, a 50% cancellation fee applies. Cancellations made 13 days or less prior to arrival date, 100% penalty. There are no refunds or credits issued for early checkouts.
Check in is any time after 3pm, and check out is at 11pm. If you need an early check in or late check please talk with the staff at reception.
No, however we are in the process of installing hot water in all the rooms. Grey water is recycled to maintain our fruit trees, papayas, bananas, lemons and oranges. We encourage you to use natural soap and shampoo which we offer complementary. It is forbidden to hand wash clothes in your bungalow.
Our bungalows have no air conditioning, but they are built for the ocean breeze to fill the space with freshness and cool air. Each bungalow has floor-to-ceiling windows, which allow the air to flow through it. In addition, a fan is placed on top of every bed for peaceful evenings.
No, we are a non-inclusive hotel. We have 1 restaurant on site for guests and non-guests. Cacao Restaurant serves local organically grown fruit and vegetables, catch of the day and other delicacies. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Fresh juices, detox smoothies, whole grain bread and sweet rolls baked locally are served for you to enjoy looking at the ocean’s horizon.

Turtles lay their eggs on our beach from May to November. During this period, there is a good possibility of having the chance to see them on the beach building their nests. It is forbidden to smoke, use a flashlight or cameras with a flash because it would disturb them and scare them away.
Wales pass in front of the hotel between November and April in the migration route. If you are lucky you can even see them from your hotel room!
